Constructed for durability and performance, the cylinder barrel is selected based on internal diameter and pressure requirements. For bores up to 300 mm, cold-rolled precision seamless tubes are used; hot-rolled seamless tubes are employed for diameters between 300 mm and 500 mm; and forged tubes are chosen for IDs exceeding 500 mm. Common materials include high-strength steels such as ST52, SAE1045, SAE4140, and stainless grades like SUS304 or SUS316L. The inner surface is precision-bored and honed to a fine finish (Ra 0.2–0.4 μm), with optional chrome plating to enhance wear and corrosion resistance.

The piston rod, made from hardened materials like SAE4140, 42CrMo4, or stainless steel, undergoes surface treatments such as induction hardening to achieve a hardness of HRC55–60. Chrome plating with a thickness of 20–50 microns (or customized) ensures excellent durability and smooth operation. Dimensional tolerances conform to ISO standards such as f7, f8, f9, h8, or h9, guaranteeing precise alignment and reliable performance.

Sealing systems utilize high-quality seal kits from reputable brands like Parker, Merkel, or NOK, tailored to specific operating conditions to prevent leaks and extend service life. All critical welds, particularly between the tube and flange, are ultrasonically tested to ensure structural integrity and a leak-free lifetime.

These cylinders operate at design pressures up to 700 bar (10,150 PSI) and are supported by high-performance bearings from manufacturers such as SKF or LONGXI. Compliant with international standards including DIN2391 and ISO 9001:2015, long stroke hydraulic cylinders are widely used in applications such as offshore engineering, renewable energy (e.g., photovoltaic and wind power systems), construction machinery, hydraulic engineering, and heavy industrial equipment.
