Description

The base material ST52 (also designated as E355) is a non-alloy structural steel known for its balanced strength and formability. Its chemical composition includes controlled levels of carbon (≤0.22%), silicon (≤0.55%), and manganese (≤1.6%), along with restricted phosphorus and sulfur (≤0.025% each), ensuring good weldability and resistance to brittle fracture. The pipe is delivered in the BK+S condition-cold drawn and stress relieved-which enhances its mechanical properties. This results in a minimum tensile strength (Rm) of 600 MPa, yield strength (ReH) of 520 MPa, and elongation (A5) of at least 14%, providing high structural integrity and fatigue resistance.

The tube undergoes SRB (Skived and Roller Burnished) processing, a two-step precision machining operation that ensures an exceptionally smooth internal surface with a roughness value between Ra 0.1–0.4 μm. This ultra-fine finish reduces friction, minimizes wear on seals and pistons, and significantly improves the efficiency and service life of hydraulic systems.

Dimensional conformance is strictly maintained with an inner diameter tolerance of H8, outer diameters ranging from 40 mm to 480 mm, and standard lengths up to 12 meters. Straightness is controlled within 0.5–1 mm per meter. These tubes are widely used in hydraulic cylinders for construction machinery, material handling equipment, injection molding machines, and industrial automation systems where reliability and precision are critical.
