Description

The material E355 (equivalent to ST52) is a non-alloy quality steel known for its excellent strength and toughness. Its chemical composition includes controlled levels of carbon (≤0.22%), silicon (≤0.55%), and manganese (≤1.6%), along with low phosphorus and sulfur content (≤0.025%), which contribute to good weldability and formability. The delivery condition BK+S indicates that the tube is cold-drawn and stress-relieved, enhancing its mechanical properties. This results in a minimum tensile strength (Rm) of 600 MPa, yield strength (ReH) of 520 MPa, and elongation (A5) of at least 14%, ensuring durability and resistance to deformation under high pressure.

The inner diameter tolerance of H8 guarantees precise dimensional control, essential for efficient sealing and smooth piston movement. The tube undergoes SRB (Skived and Roller Burnished) processing, which delivers an ultra-smooth internal surface with a roughness range of RA 0.1–0.4 μm. This minimizes friction and wear, extends seal life, and improves overall cylinder efficiency.

Available in outer diameters from 40 mm to 480 mm and lengths up to 12 meters, these tubes are widely used in hydraulic systems for construction machinery, injection molding equipment, cranes, and other heavy-duty applications.
